Overview
OTOXIA 90 treats pain, swelling and inflammation in the conditions of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and gout for patients over 16 years old. Etoricoxib functions as a selective COX-2 inhibitor, operating as both analgesic and anti-inflammatory agent. It blocks COX-2 enzymes responsible for converting arachidonic acid to inflammatory prostaglandins, reducing pain and inflammation while protecting stomach lining from ulcer effects common with ibuprofen and aspirin.
Medicinal Benefits
Reduces pain and inflammation in osteoarthritis
Effective relief in rheumatoid arthritis
Manages ankylosing spondylitis symptoms
Rapid relief of acute gout flares
Protects stomach lining better than non-selective NSAIDs
